On the 23rd, this installation was received, after successfully passing the 6-month period of operational tests. The event was also attended by the Municipal Corporation, the Government Delegate of the Junta de Andalucía in Jaén and the Provincial Delegate of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Sustainable Development.

The installation, designed and built by DTD, is designed for a nominal flow of 920 m3 / d and a treatment capacity of 4,200 h.e. The water line is based on a biofilm process using two trickling filters that can operate flexibly according to different series-parallel configurations and with an adjustable recirculation degree. The sludge line consists of thickening, cold anaerobic digestion and mechanical dewatering.
