DTD will implement two pilot wetlands in the framework of the LIFE INTEXT project

The CENTA foundation has awarded DTD the construction of two pilot artificial wetlands in its experimental plant in Carrión de los Céspedes. The action is part of the LIFE INTEXT program, which aims to develop the combination of INTENSIVE and EXTENSIVE technologies in the purification of wastewater in a small communities and its reuse.

One of the wetlands corresponds to the patented Rhizosph'air (R) system, which improves the performance of a conventional wetland through forced aeration.

The other case corresponds to an evolved system of floating helophytes, also having external aeration.

This new award reinforces DTD's position as a collaborating company in different innovative projects requiring the construction of pilot or demonstration plants.
